On September 20, 2021, Ambassador Hashem Dajani, accompanied by the Embassy Counselor Mr. Dawood Jalloud, paid a courtesy visit to the third President of Ukraine, Mr. Viktor Yushchenko, in his office.
The Ambassador told about the recent developments in the humanitarian situation in the State of Palestine and the urgent issues of the development of existing relations between the two friendly countries in the fields of education and science. Ambassador Dajani also briefed his interlocutor on the Embassy’s work program and thanked Mr. Yushchenko for maintaining peace in the Middle East and Palestine during his tenure as the President of Ukraine.
For his part, Mr. Yushchenko talked about the need for peace in the region and wished the restoration of security and stability in Palestine and for the peoples of the Middle East region.
