Ambassador Hashem Dajani accompanied by Mr. Dawood Jalloud, Counselor and Consul of the Embassy, met with the heads of Ukrainian universities, which are as follows:
- On August 9, 2022 with the Head of Sumy State University Mr. Vasyl Karpusha
- On August 16, 2022 with the Head of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Ms. Tetyana Kaganovska
- On August 17, 2022 with the Head of Bogomolets National Medical University Mr. Iurii Kuchyn
During the aforementioned meetings, urgent issues related to Palestinian students were discussed on the background of the crisis in Ukraine, for the purpose of searching ways to continue students’ education in esteemed Ukrainian universities.
For their part, the universities affirmed their readiness to provide the necessary assistance in solving all urgent issues, regardless of the fact that some of them do not fall within the scope of the universitiesâ powers and to facilitate all procedures for Palestinian students, in order to ensure the graduation of new specialists who will serve for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
