On December 2, 2021 Ambassador Hashem Dajani paid a visit to the International European University in the city of Kyiv upon the invitation of the President of the University Mr. Franz Volodymyr von Habsburg-Lothringen. The Ambassador also met with representatives of the University administration and Prof. Dr. Salah Zaqout, Director of the Arab Cultural Institute of the University.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dajani got acquainted with the University staff and listened to a detailed explanation about the history of the Universityâs founding and the available scientific disciplines, especially for foreign students, as well as the Universityâs desire to open fruitful and constructive cooperation relations with Palestinian universities, and welcoming the Palestinian studentsâ joining the various faculties of the University.
For his part, Ambassador Dajani thanked the President of the University for his kind invitation and stressed that during the long decades Palestinian students have benefited from educational opportunities in Ukraine and have proven their success in work thanks to the high educational qualification they obtained. Ambassador Dajani also expressed the Embassy`s readiness for fruitful and constructive cooperation with the International European University.
