On November 4, 2021 H.E. Ambassador Hashem Dajani accompanied by Mr. Dawood Jalloud, Counselor and Consul of the Embassy, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Roman Goriainov, Director of the Department General for Consular Service in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the Parties discussed ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations in the consular sphere, paying special attention to current consular issues, such as necessary measures to facilitate the obtaining entry visas to Ukraine for Palestinian citizens, especially students and businessmen.
For his part, Mr. Roman Goriainov congratulated Ambassador Dajani on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Palestine and Ukraine. He also spoke about the innovations introduced by the Ukrainian authorities to facilitate obtaining entry visas to Ukraine, emphasizing the readiness of the Ministry to provide the necessary information support to the Palestinian Mission in Ukraine. In addition, Mr. Roman Goriainov promised to take into account the Ambassador’s proposals regarding the facilitation of entry of Palestinian citizens into Ukraine in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation.
