
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Ministry of Women’s Affairs of the State of Palestine has prepared a series of thematic reports on the situation of Palestinian women. The reports highlight key aspects of their lives, including health care, access to education, gender-based violence, the importance of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, as well as women’s political participation and economic empowerment, including that of women prisoners.
The reports provide detailed analysis of the current challenges faced by Palestinian women, summarize the deep-rooted problems aggravated by current circumstances, and highlight the national politic measures taken by the Palestinian government based on verified data.
