President of the State of Palestine, H.E. Mahmoud Abbas, sent a letter of condolence to the President of Ukraine, H.E. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in light of the passing away of the First President of independent Ukraine, H.E. Leonid Kravchuk

On May 17, 2022, the President of the State of Palestine, H.E. Mahmoud Abbas, sent a letter of condolence to the President of Ukraine, H.E. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in light of the passing away of the First President of independent Ukraine, H.E. Leonid Kravchuk.

The letter stated: “On behalf of the State of Palestine, the people of Palestine and myself, I extend to Your Excellency, as well as to the Government and the friendly people of Ukraine, our sincere condolences on the passing of His Excellency Mr. President Leonid Kravchuk, who dedicated his life to serving his homeland and people during the years of holding the post of the First President of Ukraine.

We pray to Almighty God to grant His Excellency mercy and peace, and to endow you and the worthy family of the deceased with patience and consolation.
