The Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the State of Palestine to Ukraine, Counselor Dawood Jalloud, participated in the commemoration ceremony of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of (1939-1945), which was held in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. The ceremony was also attended by the President of Ukraine, His Excellency Mr. Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Ms. Olena Zelenska, along with a number of senior state officials and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Ukraine.
The official ceremony took place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where the Ukrainian President and the First Lady laid flowers in honor of those who died in World War II and observed a moment of silence in memory of the fallen.
