On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ukraine, Hashem Dajani received at the embassy headquarters in the capital, Kyiv his Excellency the ambassadors and representatives of the Arab diplomatic corps, in addition to His Excellency the Ambassador of South Africa, where they expressed their condemnation of the genocide and arbitrary practices committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip in particular and in general. The occupied territories in general and their full solidarity with the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.
In the same context, Al-Dajjani received Ms. Anna Lucatella, Head of the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ukraine, where she expressed her condolences to the Palestinian people and all the families of the victims and her condolences to the families of the United Nations employees who fell while carrying out their humanitarian duty in the Gaza Strip, wishing peace, security and stability for all the peoples of the region.
Representatives of Arab communities and institutions in Ukraine also participated by placing wreaths of flowers, lighting candles, and reading Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs, wishing the Palestinian people the fulfillment of their legitimate national ambitions, a speedy recovery for the wounded, and the return of security, calm, and stability in the Gaza Strip.
