On July 28, 2022, H.E. Hashem Dajani, Ambassador of Palestine to Ukraine, attended an official session of the Ukrainian Parliament on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood.
The session was also attended by a number of ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Ukraine. On this occasion, H. E. President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, H.E. President of Lithuania Gitanas NausÄda and H.E. President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola delivered speeches.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the Head of State’s “Cross of Combat Merit” to Ukrainian warriors who proved themselves in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
