On June 16, 2021 Ambassador of Palestine to Ukraine Hashem Dajani visited the Center for Surgical Solutions “DIEVO”, where he met with:
– Director of the Center Bohdan Dzhuran – urologist of the highest qualification category, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of Urology in Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine;

– Head of Medical Service Rami Abu Shamsiya – surgeon of the highest qualification category, surgeon of general surgery and laparoscopic surgery, candidate of medical sciences.
The Parties discussed ways to deepen bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Palestine in the medical field, the opportunities of exchanging specialists for conducting advanced training courses, as well as complex operations demonstration. Mr. Ambassador noted the importance of the fact that the large number of Palestinians have received and continue to receive higher medical education in Ukraine, taking into account the high level of development of the Ukrainian academic base and the professionalism of professors. It is worth mentioning that many Palestinian graduates have made significant progress and contributions to the health care sphere and services of Ukraine, among which is Rami Abu Shamsiya.
The Ambassador thanked for the warm reception and expressed the readiness of the Palestinian Party for further fruitful cooperation for the realization of the interests of the two friendly peoples.
