On October 6, 2021 Ambassador Hashem Dajani received at the Embassy`s headquarters a delegation from “The Book of Records of Ukraine”, which included the Director General Hanna Krysiuk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Oleh Ivanenko, Director Ihor Pidchibiy and Expert Tetiana Demchenko. The delegation was accompanied by Palestinian artist Dr. Jamal Badwan.
The delegation handed over “The Book of Records of Ukraine”, including the world’s largest oil painting on canvas by Dr. Jamal Badwan. Information about this record was conveyed to the “Guinness World Records”.
For his part, the Ambassador told about the importance of art in building bridges of mutual understanding and cooperation, as well as strengthening friendship between countries and peoples. He thanked the book’s editorial department for its achievement and wished further success, praising the role of Dr. Jamal who uses the art of his paintbrush to enhance the steadfastness of his people suffering under occupation and fighting for freedom. The parties also discussed ways to enhance cultural cooperation between the two peoples.
