On October 27, 2021 Ambassador Hashem Dajani received Mr. Mykola Goncharenko, Head of the Kyiv City Union of Veterans of Afghanistan, and Ms. Natalia Shatkovska, Deputy Head of the Union, who paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy`s headquarters.
Mr. Mykola Goncharenko told about the nature of activity of the Union. For his part, Ambassador Dajani spoke about the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation and the daily persecution and oppression they face, as well as their aspirations for freedom.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Mykola Goncharenko presented Ambassador Dajani with souvenirs, including a book on the historiography of military events in Afghanistan.
