Mr. Ambassador Hashem Dajani met with His Excellency the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Fan Xiangzhong at the headquarters of the Chinese Embassy in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. During the meeting, the latest political events and ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip were discussed. In addition, Mr. Ambassador Dajani, on behalf of all of Palestine and its government, expressed his gratitude to China, its leadership and all the friendly Chinese people for their solidarity, steadfast support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.
The ambassador also praised China’s efforts to organize a dialogue on reconciliation between Palestinian groups, the result of which is the signing of the Beijing Declaration to promote the national unity of Palestine.
In turn, Chinese Ambassador Fan Xiangzhuang noted the good bilateral historical relations between the two friendly countries, and assured that the People’s Republic of China will continue to support the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state based on the principle of two states in accordance with the resolutions that have international legitimacy.
