The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ukraine, Mr. Hashem Dajani, joined ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Ukraine in the official celebration marking Ukrainian Statehood.
The occasion commemorates the historical development of the Ukrainian state, beginning with the Baptism of Kyivan Rus by Prince Volodymyr the Great in 988, when Christianity became the state religion, Kyiv was established as the political center, and the trident was adopted as the symbol of the ruling princes.
On this important historic occasion, Ambassador Dajani extended his sincere congratulations to the Government of Ukraine and its friendly people, wishing them continued prosperity, progress, security, stability, and peace.
